The MCC offers culturally diverse educational and social programming for HSU students, staff, faculty, and the community. Our events range from social to educational to inspirational, and are always free to attend. Please take a look at our events calendar and see how you can get involved.

Drop-In Academic and Career Advising

The MCC in collaboration with the Academic Advising and Career Center (ACAC) will be offering drop-in advising. Kyle Leitzke, an Academic Advisor with ACAC, will be in the MCC on November 15, and December 6 from 2-4pm. Advising includes topics such as: degree requirements, major exploration, job and internship search strategies, resume review, GE choices, adding a minor, preparing for graduate school, and more!

Computers & Printing

We have four computers for student use in our computer lab, and we offer free printing, up to 10 pages a day in our computer lab.


We have books to check out through the Rosa Parks Resource Room. Come visit this cozy space and do some reading and relax.

Help with Grant Funding

Are you and your student club or organization looking for programming money? We can advise clubs on how to apply for the Cultural Programming Grant, a grant worth up to $3,000. Stop by the MCC and speak to the Office Manager or Coordinator.

Conference Room Reservations

Are you looking for a space to hold a study session? Is your club not able to find a space to meet? We can reserve the Vine Deloria Conference Room for your club or organization meetings, please email for a reservation.
